If you’re around UGM (specifically near Mirota Kampus), then this place is a must-visit. It’s one of those legendary spots that has managed to keep its quality consistent for years. The cuisine is a beautiful mix of Pan-Asian and Indonesian. perfect for family dinner without having a hassle choosing menu. and every menu tastes great! The vibe is warm and super homey, making it perfect for a nice dinner. It’s surprisingly affordable for the premium taste you get. really superclose to UGM.
View on GoogleA LOT of choice of food, and everything seems delicious 😂 Fried kwetiaw was flavorful. Savory and sweet, liked that. The Hainanese chicken rice is very nice, lots of garlic and yum yum hoisin sauce. The chicken was a bit drier than I used to. And I don't expect the portion to be that big 🤭 Good choices of teas, separate sugar syrup so you can adjust to your tastes.
View on GoogleI’M IN LOVE WITH THIS RESTO!! I was super hungry at night and wanted to get myself a dinner. The location was easy to find and it has decent parking spot. The ambience was very traditional and warm. It’s very family-friendly. The place is clean. Staff was friendly & very helpful. Mind you that the close order is by 21.00 pm. I ordered Nasi Campur Dewata, IT’S BEST!!!! I love it, but a little suggestion, I think the sambal could be added more & some of the veggies weren’t that fresh, therefore it tasted a little bit soury, but maybe also since I visited at night. Price was quite affordable (tax not included) & they HAVE A BIG range of menu. Love it!! It was worth the price.
View on GoogleThe location is quite strategic on C Simanjuntak street, Yogyakarta. There's enough parking for several cars. The place is comfortable and cozy. There are several tables and chairs on the first and second floors, and there's also an outdoor seating area. We ordered fish porridge, Asinan Betawi, crispy chicken, original Nasi Lemak, and grilled Nasi Lemak. We drank Es Dawet Ayu, Es Cincau Kelapa Muda, and several other drinks. The Asinan Betawi were delicious, just like the real thing. There's a small, clean and well-maintained prayer room upstairs. The staff were friendly and the service was quite fast. Please enjoy the photos
View on GoogleMaybe it has been adapted to the local palate so in my opinion the taste is less strong than the Peranakan dishes I have tasted so far. But still enjoyable. Not too bad but not too special either.
