I came here specifically to try their monthly promotion on every 19th, where you can get a single smash burger for just 19K rupiah before tax. While I was there, I also tried their coffee, BBQ chicken, and two side dishes: mac and cheese and green salad. I was honestly surprised by the coffee quality. For this kind of place and quality level, the coffee prices are actually very cheap. The same goes for their other drinks. In Yogyakarta, cafés with this kind of atmosphere and beverage quality usually charge much more, so I really appreciate how affordable they keep the drink menu. As for the burger, I can confidently say it’s one of the best beef burgers in Yogyakarta. The patty genuinely tastes like pure ground beef and still retains its juiciness. Every component inside the burger works really well together, and it also comes with a generous portion of homemade potato chips that are properly made. I also appreciate that they treat the promotional burger just like a regular menu item instead of lowering the quality because it’s discounted. The BBQ chicken, however, was a bit disappointing. It had a pleasant smoky aroma from the sauce, but the overall flavor leaned more toward a roadside grilled chicken style rather than an authentic BBQ-house profile. The chicken itself was also dry, even though I got the thigh part. I suspect they pre-cook and store the chicken before reheating it, which causes it to become really dry. The side dishes were actually excellent. Both the mac and cheese and the green salad tasted really good and complemented the meal nicely. In terms of pricing, some menu items are still very affordable, while others are already on the expensive side for many people. That said, they do focus on quality, so the prices are still somewhat understandable. One major critique is the service flow. When I arrived, nobody welcomed me, so I had to ask the staff whether I should just take a seat myself or wait to be seated. Even after getting a table, I had to wait quite a long time just to receive a menu book. I even had to repeatedly signal the staff to get their attention. Another inconsistency I noticed was that some tables were provided with complimentary BBQ sauces, salt, and pepper, while my table had none. Small details like this can affect the overall dining experience and should be handled more consistently. I think it would be much better if they had a dedicated staff member welcoming guests and immediately handing out menus. Alternatively, if they are short-staffed, they could simply put up a clear sign instructing customers to take any available seat and pick up the menu themselves. Overall, the food quality is genuinely impressive, especially the burgers and drinks, but the customer flow and service organization still need improvement. For now, I’d give this place 4 stars.

I had high expectations after reading so many positive reviews, but unfortunately the experience didn’t quite live up to the hype. The food was decent, but nothing particularly memorable, and it certainly didn’t justify the price. The portion sizes were also smaller than I expected for what was charged, so overall it didn’t feel like good value for money. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were friendly and attentive, which made the visit enjoyable, but I came here mainly for the food. With so many excellent BBQ options available, I expected richer flavours and a more satisfying meal. It wasn’t bad by any means, just average and, in my opinion, overhyped and overpriced. I don’t regret trying it, but I probably wouldn’t return unless there were significant improvements to either the quality, portion sizes, or pricing.

You have to try this restaurant! The meat is incredibly delicious and juicy, and the chicken is just as amazing. I had such a wonderful experience here—the food was flavorful, the quality of service from the kind waiter was excellent, and everything exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this place.
