I finally found one of the best gudeg spots in BSD, and it truly feels like a taste of Yogyakarta! The gudeg is incredibly delicious rich, perfectly balanced between sweet and savory, and cooked to that authentic tender texture that melts in your mouth. The kerecek is just as impressive, with the right level of spice and a deep, flavorful sauce that complements the gudeg beautifully. And the ayam areh? Absolutely outstanding soft, juicy, and coated in a creamy, savory areh that ties everything together perfectly. What I love most is how authentic everything tastes. It genuinely feels like a mirror of the original Yogya style gudeg, which is not easy to find outside the city. If you’re craving real Javanese comfort food, this place is definitely a must-try. I’ll be coming back for sure!

The gudeg had a good flavor overall, even though I don’t usually prefer gudeg, I still found the taste acceptable. The condiments were well balanced, especially when paired with egg and braised tofu. Parking access was relatively easy, but space for cars is limited, it may be more convenient to arrive by motorcycle or taxi.

Gudeg a.k.a. young jackfruit sewwt stew, is a legendary traditional Indonesian dish from Yogyakarta. This place is famous and legendary gudeg in there, renowned for its slow-cooked, sweet, and savory flavor profile and a rich, creamy texture derived from coconut milk, visually dried and have a long shelf life. It is suitable for hampers.

This was my first time dining here. I ordered Set Menu 1 and Set Menu 2. While I found the food to be fairly average, the service was fast, friendly, and attentive.

A go to place if you want to try a dry-spicy gudeg,, the kampung chicken is good!! I think the krecek SPICY,, some of my friends cannot even finish it. Price range was on the pricier side (35k)
