Totally unexpected in Yogyakarta! The food is delicious, with a huge menu. I had spinach ravioli entree and tirimisu for dessert. The entree size was plenty. Agree with a previous comment the ravioli was a tad chewy not al dente and a little too salty 4 my taste but still excellent. Also the ravioli was a little too salty 4 my taste. Gr8 range of cheeses u can add incl strachiadella Dessert of tirimisu was excellent plus they have a gr8 range of mocktails. Will be back with the family 4 sure -want to try the mushroom pamiagiana, the pizzas, the gelato and more of their awesome mocktails.

Overall we had a nice dinner there. The restaurant is beautiful with upstairs and downstairs dining. The exterior transports you to Italy and the interior is just as charming. The servers were prompt and very friendly. We shared a few items. The fish and chips were perfect. Their signature salad was great, and the pumpkin soup was delicious. But our pasta dish was a little undercooked and bit chewy. Not al dente, chewy. And when we ordered a second drink, we had to wait quite a while and ask 2 different people before we received it. Then we waited for our bill, which we asked for, but never came. So we went downstairs to pay and had to wait because the cashier was also working the Gelato counter and was pretty slow. But if you're looking for a romantic spot or something different in Yogyakarta, give them a try.

This place specializes in Italian cuisine, and in my opinion, they make a genuine effort to stay true to authentic Italian recipes and cooking techniques. Overall, I had a positive experience, although there are still a few areas that could be improved. One of the highlights is definitely their pizza. The dough is excellent, with a great texture and flavor, and the pizzas are very well made. I also appreciate that their pasta is cooked properly al dente, which is something not every Italian restaurant gets right. That said, there are a couple of downsides. The first is the pricing. Some menu items are on the expensive side, so I naturally expect the execution to match the price. Unfortunately, a few dishes fell short of that expectation. The Farfalle con Salsiccia had a sauce that was far too herb-forward. I suspect it was cooked over the heat for too long, as it developed a noticeable bitter, slightly charred taste that overpowered the rest of the dish. Also their sausage on top of the pasta taste also really bitter. I also tried the Pollo Bambino alla Diavola, and while the chicken was cooked well, it lacked seasoning and needed a much bolder flavor to live up to its name. Aside from those dishes, everything else I tried was enjoyable and well prepared. The restaurant clearly has a solid foundation, and with a few refinements to some of the recipes, it could easily become one of the better Italian restaurants in the area.

I'm in love with Giorno's Pizzeria! Beautiful place, the decor is very rustic and unique. The restaurant smells delightful as you walk in. They have various selection of pizza. Service was very quick, and the staffs are wonderful and friendly. Everything that we tried were perfectly made and very tasty. Definitely coming back here again whenever we visit Jogja in the future!

Giorno's Pizza House is one of those spots that instantly transports you to Italy the moment you walk in. The menu is such a nice surprise, with classic pizzas that have that perfect thin, blistered crust, plus fresh pastas, creamy risottos, and antipasti that actually taste like they were made in a little trattoria in Rome. Everything feels handmade and unpretentious, and the flavors are bright and simple in the best way. The place itself gives you that classic Italian feel with warm lighting, rustic wood tables, and just enough buzz that it feels lively but still cozy for a long dinner with friends or family. If you want pizza that respects tradition but still feels welcoming and down to earth, Giorno's is absolutely worth going back to.
