Before visiting Mount Merapi we passed by Warung Eyup then we stopped and decided to have lunch there. The concept is buffet with traditional Javanese food, simply beautiful. The taste of the food is authentic and delicious. My mom ordered Es Seruni and it was delicious. The restaurant has incredible rice fields view, we were really enjoying our lunch. A good place to eat in Kaliurang. First of all, this place has a very nice ambience. You get to rnjoy the nice views of the rice fields in this place. It has some semi-indoors and outdoor seatings. This restaurant serves a variety of classic Javanese foods served in buffet style. Tried some of their different dishes, and overall they are well made. The price is reasonable, and it definitely is worth for the food quality. The telur crispy is the best one, highly recommend ordering that one. The sayur lodeh also has great flavors. The wedang seruni has a good balance, although it lacked the flavors from the spices. Overall, this is a good place to eat in Kaliurang, especially for the ambience and views they offer.

Simple Javanese home cooked meals. If you missed spicy food after having delicious yet sweet based food from Yogyakarta, this is the best around Merapi area.
