Soto Pak Marto is a solid option if you’re craving soto. I liked the broth because it felt light but still flavorful, and the portion was generous. The wide selection of toppings is a big plus, especially if you enjoy beef offal. It has a satisfying, hearty feel overall, and I’d definitely consider coming back when I’m in the mood for a simple, comforting bowl.
View on GoogleIf you’re craving a comforting bowl of piping hot soto daging, this is the place. Like I’ve mentioned in my previous reviews — when you eat soto in Jogja, you have to add the side dishes and don’t forget the special Yogyakarta kecap. The combo of fried shallots + that thick, sweet Jogja-style soy sauce just elevates everything. It hits differently. The price is affordable and the portion is super filling too. Please be ware that soto in yogyakarta usually have a little sweet taste that make it different with jakarta soto. There’s usually a leker seller outside — and you should definitely try it! Jogja leker is different from the thin Jakarta-style ones. It’s thicker, softer, and more satisfying in its own way hehe. Maybe for some people, it’s “just soto,” nothing special. But for me, this place holds memories. It’s where I used to have breakfast with my family — especially my grandma. Those simple morning moments… they can’t be repeated again. And somehow, every bowl brings me back to that time, even just for a little while. 💛 Some foods feed your stomach. Some feed your memories.
View on GoogleThe main and original outlet of the legendary Soto Pak Marto food chain. After many years, I and my wife came back for beef soto soups, a hot tea and an iced lemon. The drinks were fine (5/5), but the soto soup was disappointing (3/5): the taste was savory but the meat chops were tough. Spacious parking lot for motorbikes. Cars park on the road side. Now it has another dining hall at the back with high chairs, carpets, clean toilets and musholla (moslem prayer place). Another minus: no free WiFi.
View on Googleone of the legends of soto in Yogyakarta. tastes good and fits on the tongue. standard portions, but if you order one it seems less. The queues are quite a lot at breakfast, especially at weekends, so the service is also not so fast. the parking area is not large.
View on GoogleService is very good. Upon entering the staff will directly tell you the menu and also the drink. They serve it fast. You must take Tempe and some Satay directly from the front table near the staff. The taste is very original and one of the most delicious soto on Jogja. It's a must come if you come to Jogja
