Bakmi Kadin is a legendary Javanese noodle and an icon in the city of Yogyakarta. Established since 1947, it can be said to be the pioneer of Javanese noodles in Yogyakarta and the only Javanese noodle stall that does not provide a rice menu.

The bakmi was nice. I remember the first time I went here 2015 and the moment I came back in 2026 the taste is still similarly tasty. I ordered bakmi godok and it is truly recommended since it feels like a comfort food. The noodle texture is not to hard nor too mushy. Also love the hot ginger, truly soothing one's throat.

Kadin Noodles and Bajigur is one of Yogyakarta’s legendary culinary icons, having been in business since 1947. The place is extremely popular for its consistency in maintaining an authentic flavor through a cooking process that utilises a charcoal stove and charcoal.

Delicious food. The mie nyemek was truly nyemek, well seasoned, and not overcooked. Try the spiced drink—it warms you up. Spacious place with live local oldies music, but be prepared to wait; better enjoyed with friends.

Hmmm… noodles very bland, too watery, even am asked dont put too much soup, the plus only average portion. Staff kinda sassy. The place also dirty, its not suitable for dining, i can smell chicken sh*t aroma while walked to the toilet. Its just big No for me 🥲 But i dunno the place are very crowded, its famous with the local

The bakmi here is decent—not mind-blowing, but hits the spot if you're craving noodles. Good for a quick, no-fuss meal!
