One of the most legendary Bakmi Jawa spots in town! If you come here at night, it is guaranteed to be completely packed. Since each portion is cooked individually to maintain quality, you should expect a long queue and a decent wait. The Strategy: Our driver wisely advised us to arrive in the late afternoon instead of dinner time. We took the advice, but even right before evening, the seating area was already fully occupied and the order queue was already getting quite long. The Food: After waiting for about 30 minutes, our food finally arrived. It was absolutely delicious and well worth the wait! A big plus for me is that they are very generous with the pickles (acar), giving you a large portion that adds a wonderful freshness to the rich noodles. Verdict: It's easy to see why this place is constantly packed and highly successful. If you want a genuine taste of legendary Javanese noodles, just make sure to arrive early and bring some patience!

A must-visit culinary spot if you're in Jogja. Bakmi Pak Pele offers an incredibly authentic Javanese noodle experience. The noodles are cooked portion by portion using a traditional charcoal stove, which gives the dish a distinct, smoky aroma that you just can't get anywhere else. The Bakmi Godhog (boiled noodles) and Nasi Goreng are top-tier. Expect a long queue, especially on weekends, so come early or be prepared to wait

Favorit bakmi jawa, never skip whenever there is chance to visit Yogyakarta. Try the bakmi godok nyemek, tasty broth with smooth noodle. It will be very crowded, so tried to arrive before 7.

Real atmosphere of javanesse and indonesia. However you should try the ‘mie godog nyemek’ since to me the other is not as special. Its on the side road so pretty packed, but still lots of space. Kind seller and people around, very busy place
