The foods here was surprisingly tasty and the price also pretty affordable. They serves many kinds of Indonesian foods and it comes with the green sambal. It's suitable for those who comes in group or want to try something new. Overall it was nice and would come again when I have the chance

I recently had dinner at Lombok Idjo Diponegoro in Yogyakarta, and overall it was a really enjoyable experience. If you like Indonesian food with lots of sambal options, this place is definitely worth visiting. First thing that stood out was the parking area, which I’d rate around 8/10. There are quite a lot of parking spots and attendants who help guide and watch the vehicles, so arriving by car isn’t stressful. The place itself gets about 8/10. It’s fairly clean and comfortable with plenty of seating available. One thing I appreciated was how complete the facilities are — tissues are provided on the tables, near the sinks, and even in the toilets. The toilets are also spacious and relatively clean. The only downside was the smell of cigarette smoke that lingered from the moment we ordered until we finished eating. The staff deserve a solid 9/10. They were very friendly, quick, and attentive. Service felt efficient without being rushed. Now the best part: the food. The sambal selection is amazing (9/10). Every sambal we tried was flavorful and really elevated the dishes. The fried catfish (8.5/10) was cooked perfectly — crispy on the outside and tender inside. The lalapan vegetables (9/10) were fresh and generous in portion. The sayur asem (9/10) had a rich, bold taste with plenty of ingredients. The grilled chicken and fried chicken (both 9/10) were well-seasoned and satisfying, while the fried duck (8/10) was good though slightly less memorable. My personal favorite was the tempe mendoan (9/10) — big, savory, and very flavorful. Price-wise, it’s very worth it (9.5/10) for the portion and taste. Tip: try visiting around early dinner time to avoid crowds and don’t forget to try multiple sambal varieties.

A lovely place that's spacious, clean and comfortable. We were quickly seated and given the menu. It took us some time but everything we ordered was good. Best part, we could ask for the sambal to be separated.

Food: various, delicious and not too expensive; very good Service: Most of the waiters cannot speak English well. A waiter gave us a menu after some minutes passed, nobody came to ask about our orders. So I had to call them to get my order. But one young waiter he came with his effort to communicate with us. Thank you for your effort. Anyway, if you are a foreigner, here is good to try local food.
