Legend!! The gudeg is not overly sweet and tastes classic. The service is super friendly and the place is spacious and clean. Qris is not available, but we can either transfer or pay in cash. Recommended!

The gudeg was delicious, the service was fast, and the place was clean. Parking is on the roadside, which can be a bit inconvenient if you don’t get help from the nearby parking helper. Recomend to use motorcycle. Unfortunately, the parking attendant was quite unpleasant. After finishing our meal, we just wanted to briefly look around the area, walk a little to the left and right, and take some photos. However, the attendant immediately asked us to move our car and subtly pushed us to leave, which felt uncomfortable.

I’ve been eating here for more than 20 years, and it’s always a must-visit every time I’m in Yogyakarta. The gudeg is really good — not overly sweet, with just the right level of spice, which makes it easy to enjoy even if you’re not a fan of super-sweet gudeg. Everything feels well balanced and comforting, the kind of flavor you keep coming back for. What makes the experience even better is the service. The staff are incredibly warm and friendly, that genuine Yogyakarta hospitality that makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. I always order the gudeg komplit with chicken and egg, no exceptions. And of course, it’s never complete without packing some to-go for oleh-oleh before heading home. Some traditions are just too good to change.

Best gudeg for me (I'm not a local, and I always make sure I stay near here for the sake of eating Djuminten's gudeg). It's more savory than usual gudeg and the krecek is very soggy (not dry), i love it! The sambal is very spicy, and the areh is so umami... It's so so good!

Classic Gudeg place. The owner claim that this might be the first Gudeg seller in Yogya, since they start 1926. The place still have ambience from old time. The taste of the Gudeg is not too sweet, the way I liked it, as well as the krecek is not so spicy.
