For you who are also interested in traditional restaurant experience like me, you gotta try this one. I mean, I pretty much enjoyed having my meals while watching live Javanese dance every once in a while. Oh! And yessss you will be served with this Raminten ‘lady’, they good to entertain us.

We actually ended up here by coincidence while looking for food, and what a surprise it was. We even got to watch a rehearsal of the show while eating, which made the whole experience even more fun. I asked if they could make the food extra spicy… and they definitely did! Really delicious food, full of flavor. Such an unexpected and special place. LOVE it!

The Resto Raminten Malioboro never disappoints! The atmosphere is lively, and the staff truly makes the visit special—they are wonderfully friendly and always up for a cheerful chat or a joke. Their big menu offers something for everyone, and the dishes we had were delicious and filling. Plus, the prices are very reasonable. We had such a great dinner, we definitely ate too much, but we left feeling absolutely satisfied! If you go on a Friday or Saturday, stay for their special performance. You'll find the restaurant conveniently located above the Hamza souvenir shop.

Reataurant cum stage show ... very artistic and dramatic ... hot tea served like an offering ... Run out (so they said) on many of their food items ... good nasi goreng, the beef Rawon (the only one left on thw soup menu) was served cold and bland, just terrible ... highlights were Tempe Mendoan and Bakwan Jagung, corn fritters ... served hot and just delicious ... Dirty and lapidated ...
