I've found my perfect 'work from coffee shop' spot! 😉💓 This coffee shop has an incredible ambiance for productivity. The cozy yet spacious seating, soothing background music, and just the right amount of buzz make it an ideal workplace. Their Wi-Fi is reliable, and the staff is friendly and attentive. And, of course, the coffee is excellent! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a productive and enjoyable work environment.

This coffee shop is located in Kota Baru, Yogyakarta. It’s a small café with a surprisingly spacious outdoor area. From what I saw on their Instagram, many runners and cyclists seemed to enjoy having coffee here. However, during my visit, the experience was different. The place wasn’t packed at all. It was my first stop after my Sunday long run, and for the first time, I visited a café that wasn’t crowded. Compared to most coffee shops, especially in Jakarta, which are usually full on Sunday mornings, this was the first café — although not located in Jakarta — that felt almost empty. I came with a friend, and coincidentally, we both knew someone who works here. We waited for him to arrive, hoping to reconnect and reminisce about old memories. I ordered a mocktail coffee called “Gani” and a cold-pressed juice named “Lady Tangerine,” along with a pain au chocolat. The coffee was good — not unique or special, just simply good. The juice, however, was excellent, and I believe the other flavors must be worth trying as well. The pastry, unfortunately, did not meet my expectations. Having spent five years in the F&B industry and tried pastries from many bakeries in different cities, I would say that the best thing about it was only its size. The taste and texture didn’t stand out or meet the basic standard I personally look for. Other than that, it was just okay. In terms of concept, I feel the café resembles many other coffee shops. That doesn’t mean it’s bad, I simply think it has a lot of room to grow. If they manage to find their unique identity and showcase what makes them authentic and different whether through their products, concept, or customer journey. I believe they can truly stand out and be memorable for customers. Before closing this review, I want to highlight their service. The baristas and staff were incredibly friendly. They knew their products very well and gave great recommendations. Their service is undoubtedly a 10/10. Would I visit again? Sure why not.

I went here twice, and both visits were pleasant! On my first visit, I ordered Magic Latte and Pain Au Chocolate. The pastry was okay but the coffee tasted perfect as per my preference. I came back here 2 weeks later for another WFC sesh, and tried their mocktail coffee – Gani, which was suppper refreshing! The cafe is quite small and packed, but the ambiance’s here was just right for working/focusing. Plus point, they have a top-notch playlist👌🏼👌🏼

I'll recommend this cafe for 'work from cafe' space. It's located in a quiet part of Kotabaru, it's close to UGM and the city centre and it has both outdoor and indoor seating artangements. They do not have so many choices in the menu (only drinks and pastries) but sufficient. The service is friendly and quick. Sockets are easily available indoor (not sure with the outdoor).

A peaceful coffee shop. Thanks for its location which is in a small alley. Love the ambience. So cozy, quiet, and not too crowded. Perfect place to have some me-time! This time I didn't drink coffee. I ordered matcha latte instead. It was just okay for me. I hope they don't have more milk than the matcha itself next time. Here you can buy some souvenirs too like T-shirts, bags, and any cute things.
