Location: Easy to find since there is clear signage on the outside. Located on the small road among the old buildings. There is also signage in front of the place. Also visible from a moderate-speed vehicle. In addition, the location on Google maps is very accurate. Service: So-so. Products: Coffee. Area: Big. Consists of indoor and outdoor. The indoor consists of 6 tables of two (with sofa). While the outdoor consists of 6 patio and 4 tables of 4. Facility: Toilet, electric plug, photobooth (paid). Payment: QRIS (no other payment method confirmed just yet). Experience: So-so. Additional note: The price on the menu is tax excluded. Parking spot: There is a parking spot. If you bring a vehicle, you can park inside the area. The parking spot can amount to around 10 motorcycles and 3 cars at once. If full, you should park on the roadside nearby. Parking officers: There are parking officers. Illegal ones. Managed by locals or maybe the security guard in charge. Therefore need to pay, Rp 2000 (for motorcycle) and Rp 5000 (for car). If no cash, he provides QRIS.
View on GoogleJnawi is a cozy place in Yogyakarta with a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The place has a unique and beautiful interior that makes it comfortable to spend time there. The photobooth was also really beautiful and had a cute setup, making it perfect for taking memorable pictures. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the overall experience. Overall, I had a great time and would definitely recommend Jnawi to others.
View on GoogleLove the new concept after the re-opening! Love the atmosphere and the concept, it's very 'edgy'. Appreciate that they play some jazz playlist, which I think not that many cafes do. Also loved the matcha selections, they're authentic unlike one of those overly sweet matcha lattes that are mostly sold here in Jogja. Although the cappuccino was a bit too sweet for my liking. I feel like the milk and coffee ratio isn't well-proportioned (could barely taste the coffee). Other than that, everything is 👍. Heard they started selling main courses, and I can't wait to try them! Ps. If you're looking for a cafe for your WFC session, this is probably not the best choice as this place is more suitable for a hangout and maybe dining (which is okay, every place has the right to decide what concept to implement).
View on GoogleI wouldn’t really recommend coming here alone, to be honest. This spot feels more like a gathering place for the trendy crowd, where outfits often steal the spotlight. The unique interior redesign instantly reminded me of Berliner Kunstsupermarkt (thanks to the paintings) and a bit of The Amazing Crocodile in Raumerstraße, Berlin. The menu didn't really stand out, but the service was very welcoming. My personal favorite part? The playlist—classic pop 90s and 00s hits that brought back all the good feels. I might come back again, especially with a group of friends. But if I were to come alone I’d probably think twice.
View on GoogleNice ambience, love the burnt cheesecake so much, and as a matcha lover, it is one of my favorite places to get one. Especially with the soda (idk if this is a limited edition or else but it tastes so good with soda combinations, a must-try one!). Matcha isn’t bitter but not sweet, the taste is just as good as what I taste in Japan 💕
