The meals are homemade and taste delicious. The owner is so nice. You feel homey, Easy located n have wide parking lot. This place may look very ordinary. However, locals see this place like a gem. It serves the local hungry tummies very well. For me, the location is super strategic. Anytime I have to work at the Yogyakarta office, this is my place to have lunch. 👍

Had lunch with my wife at this simple but popular Javanese food diner. We enjoyed white rice, cooked vegetables (pecel), chicken satay, fried white noodle, smoked fish mangut, crackers, hot seruni (lemongrass+lime+ginger) drink, hot coffee, and took home side dishes and fried snacks, ... perfect. Fast and helpful service. Self-service dishes and ala carte drink menu. Indoor and terrace tables with high chairs. A clean restroom (with a squat toilet). A vast parking yard for motorbikes, cars and minibuses. Minuses: no free WiFi; no musholla.

Put in my bucket list wherever coming to Jogja. Authentic Javanese food with "kental" spoken Javanese languange! Was built in 1969.

Good food, good ambience. Almost similar to Malaysian version of “Nasi Campur”.

Not a fancy place to have fancy breakfast and have some 'so-called aesthetic' spot to take photos, but surely gives you full stomach of delicious home-cooking dishes, small chit-chat on daily basis and friendly greetings from the owner who recognizes you whenever you come there regularly. It has various options of 'lauk-pauk' and also vegan friendly dishes.
