I absolutely loved the noodles! 🍜 This was actually my first time dining at the restaurant since I usually order it online. The pastel filled with carrots and minced beef was delicious, crispy on the outside and flavorful inside. The lasagna was pretty good too, though it wasn't my favorite. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the noodles and the pastel!

I never realized this place was so close to my place! But once I finally tried it, it turned out to be an experience I definitely don’t regret. The food is genuinely delicious. The noodles have a unique base flavor, I could taste a hint of anchovy aroma that gives them a slightly fishy, savory depth. It was so good! The chicken broth on the side is rich, flavorful, and aromatic, clearly made from real chicken. The toppings, like the dumpling and bakso (meatball), are also excellent. Nothing to complain about. People say this place is legendary, and after tasting it, I completely believe it. The price is fair, too. Definitely worth a visit if you want to experience a truly legendary yammie noodle spot! But I don't think they has to include 10% taxing for this place.

This is hands down the best bakmie in Yogyakarta for me… and yes, I’m 100% biased because this bowl holds a piece of my childhood. Back in 2005, when my family moved to Jogja, my mom would take me and my sister here all the time. We’d either go to their original outlet in Pasar Pathuk or the branch near my grandma’s house. I didn’t realize it back then, but those simple meals became core memories. Now, every time I visit Jogja, I have to come here. And when friends visit the city, this is always one of my first stops with them. It feels like introducing them to a part of my childhood. For a halal bakmi, I truly think it stands strong even compared to non-halal bakmi spots. It has this unique flavor I can’t fully explain — slightly sweet (well… it’s called yamie for a reason), but not overly soy-sauce sweet like some Jakarta-style yamie. It’s comforting, balanced, and familiar. You really need to try it to understand what I mean. What makes me emotional is how consistent they’ve stayed. The taste hasn’t changed over the years. And the price? Still reasonable. In this economy?? That alone deserves applause 😭👏 Their bakmi is pure comfort, and the wontons are soft, plump, and satisfying. And please, don’t skip the es jeruk — it’s so refreshing, especially in the Jogja heat No matter how many new places open, this one will always have a special place in my heart. Some foods aren’t just about taste — they’re about memories, family, and that feeling of being a kid again.

Still the best yamiie! Just look at the noodle! Mouth watering! Aha the texture just beyond perfect! Love it! Tender! I can eat the noodles itself even satisfying with the condiments! Guess the price! Students pockets friendly! The place is indeed so humble! Give it a shot!

The noodles were on the softer side but with great chicken oil aroma & flavours. Loved the combo of minced and sliced chicken (marinated + steamed)—simple yet flavourful. The clear soup looks plain but packs a nice chicken broth you’ll want to slurp. Chilli’s watery and mild at first but builds up nicely over time. The fried pangsit were made fresh to order—crisp, fragrant skin (like a thicker Bakmi GM style) with sweet, tasty filling. Five pieces per serve, and so good we ordered them three times. The baso goreng was also a surprise win—light, no tough skin, fried fresh each time. We had five to try, five more, and five to go. If you love noodles, this Yammie’s a must.
