We ordered - bakso complete, quite bland with its original taste. My recipe for Vietnamese taste: 2 spoon of chili oil + 1 spoon of vinegar + half spoon of sugar sauce - young coconut: coconut served w syrup up, not my type 😂

Whenever you are traveling to yogyakarta and crave for some thing light and comfort food, this place is a must!

The handsome man owner was fluent in English. The simple explanation of the food and ordering were not difficult. The first time I tasted bakso, it was too salty for me. But the fried dumplings made here were so perfect that they couldn't be compared to anywhere else! Restaurant was a little hot even with the air conditioner turned on.

It's pretty decent. Slightly more expensive than your average fare in Yogyakarta. The broth was flavorful, but it was warm (instead of hot) when it came out. Taste-wise still good, though a bit tame to the Indonesian palate. Recommended, if you want to try a classic restaurant in downtown Yogyakarta.
