This beach is super nice and not too crowded at all, just absolutely beautiful. You can check my photos to see! There’s a bridge that leads to a little pavilion/gazebo overlooking the ocean—it’s a great spot for photos. They also have photographers for hire there; the price is quite cheap and the results are pretty good, just make sure to haggle/bargain a bit. You can just roll out a mat and order some food or drinks from the nearby stalls.

A lil bit crowded in holiday season. But overall it's such a beautiful place.

Pantai Kukup adalah destinasi pesisir yang indah di Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta. Dengan adanya warung makan, penyewaan tikar, dan parkir terdekat, Pantai Kukup menawarkan keindahan alam sekaligus kenyamanan. Ini adalah tempat yang bagus untuk pelarian pantai yang menyegarkan dengan sentuhan petualangan.

The sky and the sea are very clear up here. They encase the beautiful view that lure everyone so we would be amazed with the nature.. We came here during the office time back then, therefore it seems quiet in these photos. We can also enjoy the breeze drifting on by the rocks and it's so relaxing! Perfect place for refreshing our mind.

Came here on vacation and it was very busy and crowded. Honestly, I didn't expect there's a beach in a mountainous area, the view was really good! if you walk 30 meters to the right there's another photo spot but be careful of the waves. Around the beach, there are many stalls and shops selling souvenirs as well. There's also a family villa on the hill before entering the beach area.
