Great Sate Kambing experience while you're in Yogyakarta! Located in a traditional market and cooked directly by Pak Bari himself, the mutton dishes are very delicious, with very affordable price too. Coming here before 7pm is recommended before the place gets crowded.
View on GoogleSate Klathak Pak Bari is famous for its unique goat satay, simply seasoned with salt and grilled on iron skewers. The meat is tender and flavorful, served with warm curry broth. Located at Wonokromo Market, the simple setting is always packed with visitors.
View on GoogleBest of the best sate I've ever have. It's a whole other experience and it was very delicious! Order more than you usually do, it's that good! Sate klathak and sate bumbu were recommended. You should have dinner here if you're in the area!
View on GoogleSuccessful second attempt, though we had to wait for a little while-Saturday night made it not an easy thing-it was worth it. Might not the best or the most delicious satay klathak around, but it tasted just right, the meat was fresh and blended well with the sauce/broth which also tasted light and savory. We didn’t deliberately add any additional sweet sour sauce or white pepper and soon found that it was the right choice. Located in a traditional market-i.e Wonokromo Market, the place is not too clean or comfy enough yet still okay. Price is affordable. The staffs are quite helping. Parking is available on the road side. Overall recommended for those who love to seek unusual eating experience.
View on GoogleTook very long waiting for your orders to come. The place a bit smelly and not that comfy, if you bring a babies it wasn't a good place for them. Sate klathak was good and tender, even though it already cold since i still waiting so long for the rice to come. The sate klathak broth was tasteless. Tengkleng and tongseng kambing more in the sweet side for me, still you can taste the tick coconut milk flavor in it but i had a lot better tongseng kambing in Jakarta. Too bad it was not a very good first experience for me here.
