A very comfortable small restaurant in the middle of Kasongan. Located in the riverside with a clear view of the river. They serve local food, simple but taste great. Their mie rebus and ayam goreng are quite in portion, it could be for two people. The tea is also one of the best, classic style tea with an amazing aroma and strong aftertaste. It is slightly hidden behind a huge art shop.
View on GoogleHidden almost behind everything else, this is a gem to find. Located in an alley near the main road (I am not sure how to describe it), Kedai Nyah Tan Li was our stop when we search for google for lunch place. We were not disappointed, although in term of food, yeah, quiet a bit, because a few things we wanted to order are kosong, kosong, kosong (not ready/available). However, the place is great. It's outdoor, no aircon, but overlooking a river. It's hard to believe the main busy and noisy road is just next to it. The fooda and drinks are very reasonably priced. One thing I notice in Yogya, there are many economical good food that you can't really get in many other places.
View on GoogleFound this place by chance, taking photos of the river. Stopped to have a cuppa tea. Ordered 2 serves of Siomay goreng cause the first serve was so good. Nice quiet river side atmosphere. Food is cooked with love. Recommended if in the area
View on GoogleWe discovered this fantastic spot, A cooling down ginger soda and pure and fresh Javanese dishes. Nice terrace with a view and ambiance of the water, highly recommend:)
View on GoogleWhen you look for something easy yet traditional, come to this place and enjoy the food. They have plenty choices, from snacks to meals. The meals here are quite rare to find, so you must try one. Like nasi goreng kecombrang and nasi sayur lompong. Kecombrang and lompong are not most people food, so to find them here is really good. My first try were banana fitters and tahu goreng and both taste was so good. The hot ginger drink accompanied them very well. Also that the price here is affordable, not more than 25K each. The place is just so chilled. The sound of the river under the cafe is quite relaxing. A good place to spend your time with friends or by yourself.
