A popular meatball (bakso) spot in the southern part of Yogyakarta that serves a wide variety of menu options, especially great if you’re into spicy food. The prices are very affordable, and the place is spacious and family-friendly, with both upstairs and downstairs seating areas overlooking rice fields. Service is warm and welcoming. Just a notes: it can get a little hot during the day since most of the space is open-air without fans or AC. Parking is spacious for both cars and motorbikes. Not my personal favorite, but definitely worth trying if you’re exploring the area

Not bad. If this is your first time here, try the original dish first.

Bakso & Durian Goda initially gained popularity for their "es teler" with fresh durian meat, which truly lived up to the hype during my first visit. However, after my second visit—and subsequent ones—the quality noticeably declined, and the once special experience has now become quite basic. They still offer a variety of bakso dishes, including "bakso kuah", "bakso urat", and "tetelan daging sapi", along with a range of refreshing drinks like "es buah" and "es campur". However, the overall taste and quality no longer stand out as they did before. The venue is open-air with plenty of seating, which is convenient, but it tends to get extremely crowded during lunchtime. The parking lot is paid but spacious, making it easier to find a spot even during peak hours. Overall, while my first visit was promising, the decline in quality over time is disappointing, leaving the experience feeling rather ordinary.

Tried the specials at Bakso Goda in Yogyakarta and loved it. The bakso was rich, flavorful, and super satisfying. Everything was very affordable too. Great spot for a quick and tasty meal.

Bakso taste delicious. Drink is super fresh and sweet. Parking area is a bit small and cramped. Price is still affordable. Frozen Bakso is recommended to make it yourself at home.
