I found this place via Instagram before going to Jogja and had to go try indonesian food made completely vegan and although it was not near the hotel my family booked (about 1 hour drive) it was so worth it. I really recommend this restaurant for anyone who loves to eat well tastefully and morally. But if you are already eating vegetarian/vegan, this is a must eat here place 😁 Really recommend to contact them first (i did via instagram). I really got great service cause they really make sure every guests wishes will be met (think of allergies/flavour preferences) and also help you navigating to it’s location, cause it’s kind of hidden in the back. Wish there are more concepts of this one in Indonesia and the rest of the world.

Absolutely loved my experience at Simple Plant Vegan Kitchen! The food was incredibly delicious and fresh, the service was warm and attentive, and the ambience was just awesome—calm, cozy, and inviting. A perfect place to enjoy great vegan food. Highly recommended ♥️

This is a very special vegetarian shop. The food there is unique and quite good, with a different taste. Even though we arrived very late, they still thoughtfully prepared a vegetarian dinner for us. They also shared the reasons behind starting a vegetarian business, which helped everyone gain a deeper understanding of vegetarianism. It's just a pity that we arrived too late to see the uniquely decorated interior and exterior.😊

The best food evveeeererrrrrr. Omg I loved the tempeh steak and the lemongrass tofu and the bakso soup!!! Get the bakso soup please. All of my meat eating friends have been eating the street one, and this vegan version lived up to their hype. The meatballs are not your shop bought carb plastic, they're proper handmade carrot tempeh ones that melt in your mouth. The location is a bit of a trek, but really worth it. Surrounded by forest and next to an animal shelter. If you're lucky you'll get to meet their happy pet pig Wilson. <3
