This place really captures what a proper bakmi Jawa spot should feel like. It has that classic old-school vibe, authentic and traditional, but still comfortable and not overwhelming. The menu is simple, focusing only on bakmi Jawa: rebus, goreng, and nyemek. All of them are genuinely tasty. They still use charcoal for cooking, which adds a deeper aroma and enhances the overall flavor. Interestingly, their cooking doesn’t rely on sweet soy sauce (kecap manis), so the flavor leans more toward a savory and light profile, supported just by a strong and well-made chicken broth. The price is around 24K rupiah per portion, which is slightly on the expensive side. However, considering it’s a legendary spot in Yogyakarta with this level of quality, it’s still quite reasonable.

Simply the very best of Javanesse traditional noodle. Need a patient to wait the dish to serve since cooked one by one, normal process in javanesse noodle.

The taste is very traditional, im not fan of bakmi jawa but i like this one. Anw you have to be patient, because long of waiting. Dont forget to order teh nasgitel, panas legi kentel, they use gula batu, perfect. I love how they use telor bebek at their menu, very tasty.

The hidden gem of bakmi godhok in Bantul, Yogya, located in Code. Try to order special mie godhok (stewed mie) with chickem wings. The taste is so delicious & juicy, with duck egg. Tried to eat with giant emping and hot lime orange with ginger as a drink, enjoy with the breeze of wind from parangtritis beach... Big parking lots are available

Bakmi Jawa taste is very good, especially when evening or for dinner. Eventough the Location little bit far inside and not in main road, but its accessable with gps navigation. Price was not cheap, but worth the taste.
