this restaurant serves very tasty fried chicken, crispy, juicy, and full of flavor. this branch is often considered the most authentic compared to others, and the quality really stands out. Highly recommended if you want the original taste.
View on GoogleThis is honestly the best ayam goreng (kremes?) I ever had! I requested thigh for my Ayam Goreng Suharti A local recommended me and said that this has been around since 1972 and handled by the third generation by now. I learnt from the driver that this is the second (newer) branch but usually people go to the older branch. The place is non- air conditioned open ventilated and can cater large group better because their menu are mostly in set. Service is friendly, prompt and good. Waiter helped me to set up a chair at the corner so that i can charge my phone while I eat. Large parking space is wide enough for several cars. Would love to come back again!!! Truly the best.
View on GoogleThe fried chicken here is delicious, crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The kremes (crispy crumbs) is also tasty, and the sayur lodeh (vegetable curry) adds a nice traditional touch to the meal. The restaurant has a spacious parking area, making it convenient for families or group visits. Service is quick and efficient, and the food portions are generous, perfect if you’re looking for a hearty meal. The only downside is that the dining area isn’t air-conditioned, so it can get a bit warm during the day, though they do provide fans to keep guests comfortable. Overall, it’s a great spot for enjoying classic Javanese fried chicken with family.
View on GoogleRecommended by a local tour guide as the "best ayam goreng" in Jogja! 🙂 Super crispy, but Malaysian fried chicken still wins for me! This version had a bit too much flour, which ended up trapping too much oil.
View on GoogleFood quality / ingredients are better than the other Suharti. The restaurant ambience is simple but definitely cleaner. However not easy to avoid insects / flies , especially it’s a semi-outdoor area, main door always open. Cons: The main dining area is not air-conditioned. Toilet is located downstair.
