The best food we had in Sumatra. We had diner hear 2 times because the first time was so good. The fish was so tastefull and fresh. Also we went to other restaurents on Samosir but the taste was nowhere in comparison to this place. We did not need to wait long for the food. The family was really welcoming and we had good laughs. Also they gave us an umbrella for the rain.
View on GoogleYou need plenty of patience, the food took an hour to prepare, even though we were the only patrons. The ikan Bakar was superb. So, we came back for more, this time we ordered in the morning for the dinner.
View on GoogleVery nice restaurant with plenty of choices! The atmosphere is quiet but friendly, the family here is very kind. We went for dinner a bit early and they were ready to make food for us. The dog was so cute and wanted so many pets, but I’m sure it wanted our food too haha We ordered fish which was fresh, and fried tofu and fried tempeh, both were tasty. The drinks were also good! We saw they also make roasted pig directly on the grill
View on GoogleAn excellent traditional Indonesian massage in a home environment by Desiree which was organised at very short notice. She had great therapeutic hands.
View on GoogleI ordered 250g (Rp.75,000) oyster sauce lobster and hot sweet tea, and they were very good. Lobsters can be selected from 1kg, 1/2, and 1/4. The rice was a lot, and I was only able to eat 1/3 of it. One of the staff who speaks English taught me how to remove the lobster’s shell since I was not sure.
