We came here 3x whilst we stayed in Tuk Tuk. We absolutely loved the food! From the grilled fish to the Batak specialities all amazing! The owner is absolutely lovely who always checked in with us, helped us learn some of the local lingo and made sure the spice level was perfect! We would highly recommend the raw spicy fish.... it needs to pre ordered the day before or at least in the morning and is marinaded in lemmon, ginger, chilli battack pepper and a variety of local ingredients.... it was amazing and only 150000 IDR! If your staying near by we would highly recommend this place!

I ordered Ayam Padar 35k rupiah and was surprised with the flavours. I was expecting the sauce with sweet soy, but the burst of spicy savouriness made my mouth watery. The food came out hot and was the average portion for Indonesia. The chicken was on the boney side, but the tasty surprise made up for it. The downside was that I was charged 15k rupiah for a small amount of rice, which. I was definitely overcharged If you compare the large portion of Nasi goreng at Tobay bar and bistro for 20k rupiah.

I had the grilled fish with sambal 🩷 must try. after walking around looking for somewhere to eat which wasn’t deserted, the owner cheerfuly invited me in. It is right near the harbor so afterwards you can walk to the water and go for a little swim.

We had like a week ago a wonderful dinner at Elios during our stay at Lake Toba. As visitors from the Netherlands, we were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the Indonesian food was. Everything was freshly prepared, full of flavor, and clearly cooked with great care. A special compliment for the cauliflower with tomato and onion, it was absolutely amazing and one of the best vegetable dishes we’ve ever had! We also loved the delicious spicy sambal that was served on the side. We enjoy spicy food, and it was the perfect addition to the meal. The chefs really know how to cook, and the owners are incredibly kind, warm, and welcoming. They made us feel right at home. If you’re visiting Lake Toba, don’t miss the chance to eat at Elios. We highly recommend it and would happily come back! Greetings, Emma, Tim, Audrey & Jeroen

Found this when we we're looking for place to have dinner. First I was a bit skeptical when we arrived as there is no other customer and quite dark. It is mom and pop restaurant which serve batak style dishes. Famous batak style dishes is grill pork, pork cooked with blood, the spicy andaliman sauce, raw marinated fish. We sat and ordered fish, grilled and fried pork and they turned out to be yummy. The dishes were ready pretty quickly.
