I can't believe it, this site is EMPTY 😭 literally EMPTY.. I know it's old but I mean how come no staff there to explain it to the local tourist like me tho I'm a Bataknese, I'd like to hear history directly from local ppl not just book🥲 there's no maintenance either for this site😣 I rate it 5stars because of the historical value
View on GooglePassed by on the way to the waterfall- you could see all from the parking area so didn't walk down further. Little info was available so later web research yielded :" According to the locals, Batu Hobon was given by King Uti. The purpose was to store Bataknese’s wealth. These include musical instruments and relics. Also, it is said that the museum becomes the house of Lak-Lak. It is a kind of holy book and it teaches local values of Batak culture.
View on GoogleI was surprised, but those people preserved the sanctity of ancestral customs. Respect
