Went for dinner at the recommendation of my driver. It's like a minang restaurant where the staff will lay out all the dishes. You will only pay what you eat and those untouched ones will be returned back to the kitchen. Paid less than SGD20 for 2 pax with drinks included.

Name of food written on each plate, love the detail. Taste not bad, like ayam goreng & pucuk paku. Dislike service a bit slow. 480k/4pax

One of the famous restaurants in Medan, this establishment serves halal Padang style Indonesian food. They have a variety of food to choose from and the majority of the food is delicious. The environment is clean but sometimes too packed during busy days. Parking is limited.

If you're looking for an authentic nasi Padang experience, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit. The variety of dishes on offer is simply incredible, catering to every palate, from rich and savory rendang to vibrant and tangy sambal hijau. Each dish is beautifully seasoned, striking the perfect balance of spices and flavors that make Padang cuisine so beloved. The sambals are a highlight – spicy, fresh, and bursting with flavor. They elevate every bite and are perfect for those who crave that extra kick. Pair everything with warm, fluffy rice, and you'll feel like you're dining in the heart of West Sumatra. The restaurant itself is clean and welcoming, with friendly staff eager to guide you through the dishes if you're unsure where to start. Portion sizes are generous, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality and variety you get. For anyone who loves Indonesian food or simply wants to try something new and exciting, this nasi Padang spot in Medan is a treasure. Highly recommended!

One if best local restaurant in Medan, North Sumatera Indonesia. Through their traditional recipes, every dish provided attractively, still warm, especially their popular chicken pop. The waitress were quite helpful and friendly. Go find it! It is located at Jalan Juanda.
