I came here everyday during my 3 day stay in Medan. The food is fantastic - my favorite dish was the sweet & sour tempeh. The team are so lovely - friendly and attentive. The setting is gorgeous - like a bookshop, very cosy.

The food was so delicious! So many choices in vegetables, Tempe, and tofu. And the flavors varied. I highly recommend this place.

Food was not that good, everything looked not fresh but we gave it a try, and got disappointed. It was not even cheap but expensive for what it was. No one spoke English so we served ourselves without knowing how to properly do it. No prices are up so you don’t know what you take or what you are going to pay. It was still ok but some veggies were flavorless and others were too spicy or too sour. It’s okay for a simple meal but I would not come back. I wonder if they asked more because we were foreigners, if not then the place is also too expensive for locals.

Pay by the dish buffet. Lots of different for choices. There seemed to be only water to drink. Everything was good. A few things were a bit less than fresh a bit before closing time. It's fine. 86K for the plate below and a small bottle of water.

Mostly vegan dishes. Some dishes are very spicy but hard to tell from the appearance. There are some freshly cooked vegetables and deep-fried eggplants. I didn't try those dark sauces/curry.
