Japanese ramen place (non-halal) with very good taste and authentic flavor. The ramen is very flavourful with rich broth, and the portion is quite big and satisfying. It’s also quite hard to find non-halal ramen in Medan, which makes this place even more special. Definitely a great spot for ramen lovers!
View on GoogleWe enjoyed eating here many times. The broth and noodles are consistently delicious, and we really like the ramen overall. However, on our recent visit, the meat had a noticeable smell that seemed like it had been stored in the freezer for too long, which unfortunately affected the overall experience. Hopefully the meat quality and storage can be improved, as we would definitely love to keep coming back.
View on GoogleOne of the many franchise around Indonesia and worldwide. The menu has been extended to include local dishes like chicken porridge. The tonkotsu ramen itself has retain its authentic flavour with its thick and porky broth. The chicken Karaage is juicy and generous portion although the dipping sauce need to be refined. I wouldn't recommend the tsukemen as it seems to be using very similar broth to the ramen instead of something with stronger flavour. Food - 6 Service - 6 Vibe - 5 Price - $$

View on Google🍜 **Customer Review**: Hakata Ikkousa - A Taste of Japan in Medan Looking for a taste of Japan in Medan? Hakatta Ikkousa promises to take you on a culinary journey through the flavors of Japan. During my visit, I tried a variety of dishes, and while the taste was just okay, I'd rate my experience a 3.5/5. The speed of service was reasonable, and I didn't have to wait too long for my food. The service, however, was average. While the staff was friendly, I didn't feel like they went above and beyond to make my experience exceptional. In terms of pricing, I found it to be above average. While I understand that quality comes at a price, I didn't feel like the food was worth the cost. The environment was just okay. While it was clean and comfortable, it lacked the charm and ambiance that I look for in a dining experience. Would I go back? Probably not. While Hakatta Ikkousa offers a taste of Japan, I didn't find anything that would make me want to return. Overall, Hakatta Ikkousa is a decent option if you're craving Japanese food in Medan. However, if you're looking for an exceptional dining experience, you may want to look elsewhere.
