Located in Medan Marelan which quite far from city center. They have picturesque ambience with many "photo spot for the gram" areas. Almost every corner is painted in purple, hence the name "Purple Bamboo Restaurant". You can choose to eat on the seated long table, Lesehan style hut, or seated hut. One thing that a miss was the food relatively too long to be delivered. We waited for almost 2 hours for our food to be served, Although it was before the peak hour

Best place for the view and comfortable, good food with affordable price, but with a really bad customer service management. Some advise, it should should be one waitress responsible for each customer, and without excuse. Not just once or twice but thrice times in one visit, wait a long time and actually my order already given to others, wrong order given at my table, empty order with no clarification of other option. Holidays time, crowded customer, big area, different waitress to get and deliver order, who knows which one order which foods? just enough with this table and that table like that? Really not recommended for family gathering. Honestly, not sure why the waitress here are really good at finding excuse, without any intention to apologize for their mistake.

We had good food. The place is so cozy, spacious and instagramable. The price also affordable. Beautiful voice and music from the performer, makes you want to come again and again.
