Avros Cafe is more than just a coffee shop – it’s part of a historical experience, being located beside a Museum Perkebunan. What I loved most about this place wasn’t the coffee but the stunning building and interiors. The architecture is rich with history and charm, and visiting it feels like stepping back in time. The building itself dates back to 1919, and as someone who enjoys exploring old structures, I couldn’t help but let my imagination wander about what life might have been like when this place was first built. The atmosphere is serene and captivating, blending the past with the present in a way that’s both nostalgic and inspiring. Their tagline, “bringing the past to the future,” really resonates here. While I expected the coffee selection to be more varied, given the museum’s theme of agriculture, it wasn’t as impressive as I had hoped. That said, the experience of being in such a beautifully preserved location made up for it. It’s clear a lot of effort has gone into maintaining the building’s integrity and creating a unique space for visitors. One thing to note is that parking can be tricky, especially if you’re bringing a car, so plan accordingly. Still, I’d highly recommend Avros Cafe for those who appreciate history and architecture. I hope this place continues to be preserved for generations to come.

Old but i like the vibes

Cafe attached to Avros building. Barista made nice Flat White. Coffee had nice taste. Building dating back to 1918, I think.
