25 Apr 26 visited the mosque with my parents during our trip to Medan and it's truly beautiful with its stunning Islamic architecture and interior. the caretaker at the entrance was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. he kindly helped me put on a hijab and even offered to take our photos in front of the mosque. we were lucky enough to visit while a Khatam Quran ceremony (a celebration for children who have completed their reading of the Quran) was taking place. it was such a peaceful and heart-warming experience. highly recommended for anyone visiting Medan!
View on GoogleFree entrance, security standby, very clean, nice, excellent architecture, historical mosque, beside graveyard, not far from this got istana maimum, outside got food sellers, easy to get public transport, toilet avaliable, before entering masque must leave your shoes, you can keep it to the shoes area keeper. Wudhu area just beside the shoe's keeper area. Very nice design inside the mosque, advice to give money to boxes which available there to support them.
View on GoogleGreat Masjid with amazing architecture. Keeping the old tradition and culture value alive. However, as far as i see, there were no prayer clothes for women. Ablution place is too far from the Masjid hall. Ablution place for women has little to no hanger to store purse, and is poorly maintained too. I hope that this will improve in the future.
View on GoogleWe dropped by this mosque to see the grand architecture. The domes are especially interesting. The mosque dates back to 1906. We just viewed from outside and did not enter the prayer area, though it is allowed for visitors who are suitably attired.
View on GoogleA very calming and comforting place to visit. The building is beautiful and majestic, with a strong historical atmosphere that makes the experience feel even more special. Whether for prayer or just a short visit, this place gives a peaceful feeling that is hard to describe in words.
