One of the ayam penyet restaurants that has managed to stay around and remain relevant for years. Ayam Penyet Jakarta has become quite a familiar name, especially for those looking for simple Indonesian comfort food. This time isn't for Ayam Penyet, but Gado Gado. I ordered the Gado-Gado Telur and iced Lemon Tea. The Lemon Tea was refreshing, with slices of local lemon that added a nice natural citrus aroma. 🍋 The gado-gado was decent, with the lontong was actually soft and nicely cooked, with no unpleasant smell or aftertaste. The texture was just right: not too firm and not overly soft or mushy.

My fellow Malaysian, I recommend here if you like Sweet and spicy food. Each of the meal feel hearthy and fufilling. Eventhough the sambal is a bit spicy for my Penangborn tongue it still taste amazing.

This eatery is my favoured place I can enjoy my favourite ayam goreng penyet at medan. Dine in is the best way to enjoy the crispiness of the ayam goreng penyet, despite of the scorching atmosphere inside of the eatery. Besides chicken, that's also fish meat option and various foods also desserts and beverages.
