I tried the porridge with the signature dark sauce (that i only can find in palembang) which was something new to me, and it turned out to be really tasty. A simple yet unique experience.

Nice coffee shop located in central city of Palembang. Place is so simple but taste of foods and beverages are ok with fast service and affordable price. A correct place for hang out and bussines talking. Easy to find car parking on the street. Recommended to try for coffee lovers.

Come here for the ambience. Being a "sumatran/melayu/minang", there's a special feeling that you can do breakfast with this type of food and ambiance. It's the same feeling everytime I come to a coffee shop like this, even when our family lived in Malaysia. They have similar coffee shops all around KL and Ipoh especially.

Kopi Being is an old style memorable coffee shop in early of Palembang development in the year 1970s serve only drinks like coffee tea and mixture of coffee and milk or fresh water. You can order some food like mie celor the special Palembang noodles food combining with eggs scrambled to the soup of the noodles. Exciting and tasteful.
