First time visiting this place. After reading other reviews, I realized many customers share the same issue: orders are not cross-checked properly. What is ordered is often not what arrives at the table. There are many waiters, yet when we asked about our order, they seemed confused. We waited one hours for our food and it wasn’t just our table. Other customers nearby, who arrived earlier than us, were also complaining about the same issue (which says a lot)☺️ Pak Raden, you have a well-known name in this town. If you continue to ignore customer feedback on Google Reviews and fail to improve your service, I honestly believe this business will not survive in the long run. Overall, a very poor breakfast experience. ((Kalo ga paham artinya, please google translate)) thank you :)
View on GoogleThis legendary establishment, known as one of the city's oldest pempek spots, serves up delicious and authentic versions of this iconic dish. The star of the show, of course, is the pempek. Here at Pak Raden, they've perfected the art of pempek – the texture is springy and satisfying, with just the right amount of chew. Each bite bursts with flavour, and you can choose from a variety of pempek which come in all shapes and sizes. They also offer other Palembang specialties like Tekwan and Lenggang. The dipping sauce is another highlight. It's a delicious blend of sweet, sour, and spicy flavors. Be warned, though, for those with a lower spice tolerance, it can pack a bit of a punch!
View on GoogleIt’s one of famous Pempek store in Palembang. The price and taste is good. They also have a branch store in Jakarta. Must try!
View on GoogleThere are many places to choose for the traditional and popular Palembang cuisine Mpek2, but I think pak Raden still rates among the top 3. Best eaten freshly cooked (fried) so the texture is not too rubbery. They also sell other Palembang dishes like Tekwan (pictured) , Burgo and the Palembang version of Martabak. Need to stay several days to sample all.
