very not recommended place to be visited. ticket price is not worth for the experience you get. attitude of person in the shoe check attendant is rude, smoking during the job and using his gesture forcibly soliciting voluntary contribution. one more thing, paying the parking fee is not the same as doing charity.

The place was amazing! Although the outside, parking spot and front yard is kinda plain and not so good, it's so big and beautiful in the inside. The main room was so satisfying, and unique souveniers from Palembang are sold there. Still, the parking spot was rough and full of rocks without asphalt. But we're so impressed about the place and hope we can visit there again soon.

Nice place to visit if you want a religion tours in palembang, unfortunately access to the site still not good and bumpy in some area... Need attention from local government to support access and building of this museum to be better. Overall the service of the staff very good, they offer us a complete guidance as long as tour without a request precedingly. They also help us to take several photos with the beautiful Quran background

This moment was my lucky could to visit this place. Amazing area with the giant Alquran. We can read Alquran live without open Alquran book like usually we read. I read Alquran around 5 area with the giant Alquran made of wood . Very excited and most lovely. This area is located in Landus, Palembang, this Bayt Al Quran al Akbar is the largest Al Quran museum. The Indonesian Record Museum (MURI), has named this giant Alquran to be the largest and heaviest in the world. Inside are sheets of the Alquran carved on wooden boards. The size is very large. The Alquran as a whole amounted to 30 Juz consisting of 5 floors. It reaches 15 meters high by 8 meters wide. No wonder it's called the biggest Quran in the world. Wow amazing .. You can buy any souvenirs like peci,sarung etc Maybe this can alternative choice as Islamic travelling. But management is not professional yet..I hope regional government can manage this spot more professional

Basically, it is a Pesantren (Islamic Boarding School). So mind your clothes when visited. So far, it had been told as the biggest carving of Al-Quran in the world of the MURI version.
