It is very unfortunate, Tanjung Enim Station (Old Tanjung Enim Station. ) 'Its Dutch era name' is a railway station specifically for coal freight transport located in Tanjung Enim market, Lawang Kidul, Muara Enim regency, included in the regional divre III Palembang South Sumatra. This old Tanjung Enim station only serves coal loading and unloading from Tanjung Enim owned by PTBA towards the final port of Tarahan Lampung. This old Tanjung Enim station was officially deactivated in 1986 because the area around the station had become too densely populated. And it was not enough to extend the railway track to accommodate 60 cars. So it was moved/diverted to the new Tanjung Enim station
