Compared to the other touristy restaurants that we went to on our tour this was the best one !! Waitress was very knowledgeable and helpful. We had bamboo chicken, chicken in black bean sauce accompanied by a big bowl of white rice. All delicious (My only small point would be that the bamboo chicken has lots of small bones which you have to keep spitting out) Toilets were clean with toilet seat and paper. There was also soap ! With 2 large beers total was 324K. Lil pricey but it is what it is. (Beers were like half of the cost tbf)

My family had mixed reactions. My black sauce fish was good. Ordered rice with it. A bit dry but nice sauce. The others enjoyed the prawns. But the rest was either not very tasty or too al dente (string beans). My Toraja Coffee was very nice. It is clean, well lit, clean bathroom, atmosphere average for European standards. Very nice service people. They patiently answered all my questions about the ingredients. The price for dinner was around 110 000 Rupia per person. Expensive by comparison to other places. Only tourists the Monday evening we were there. I think the mixed reviews so far are correct and reflect different experiences.

Most disgusting Indonesian food I’ve ever ate in my whole life. Ayam goreng, I doubt whether it was chicken meat at all, was not seasoned and tasted burnt. Nasi campur was not tasteful as well. Second to that, prices are way too high. So skip to eat here, even when your tour guide will land in this “touristic” resto. In stead take a drink and enjoy the view.
