One of the most famous and legendary rock grave sites in Tana Toraja. Entrance tickets for locals cost Rp 20,000. The route to the graves is super close to the ticket booth, and the path is very accessible. Outside, there are several coffins and visible bones. Going inside the cave requires a guide with proper lighting—I think it was around Rp 50,000. I skipped the cave tour since I thought the outside view was sufficient. I didn't stay long since the place is quite small. It felt a bit repetitive and lacked excitement, but it's still worth ticking off your Tana Toraja bucket list.

The site is rather a small place, nothing excessive. I imagined it to be way larger. The cave was a tad difficult experience. I didn't decide to crawl through the tight narrow parts but it was enough to see what is this all about. I'd say the guide is great if you speak Indonesian or have someone to translate. Their light is a scam in my opinion. It is petrol/oil based lamp that smells and burns oxygen in the cave. This is a typical Indonesian way of pulling money from people's pockets. Also, the price for foreigner is significantly higher, so, again, racist pricing. I gave it four stars for making effort to preserve this site, and keeping it clean and neat. Scary, beautiful, strange, unusual, cultural, and special.

An absolutely incredible and memorable experience at Londa! This place truly showcases the rich culture and the unique way the Torajan people honor their ancestors. The atmosphere is simultaneously sacred, mystical, and peaceful. Seeing hundreds of tau-tau (wooden effigies) lined neatly on the cliffside and exploring the natural cave filled with ancient coffins offers a new perspective on life and death. It is highly recommended to hire a local guide. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and can tell the stories and history behind each grave site, making your visit much more meaningful. Don't forget to bring a flashlight or rent a petromaks lamp on location as the cave is quite dark inside. Londa is not just a tourist attraction; it is a real-life history and culture lesson. A must-visit if you are in Tana Toraja!

Not worthwhile to visit. From outside you’ll see some caskets and bones, also inside the cave, but that’s it. Nothing special. You pay a ticket to enter the place, but like with most places in Indonesia, they make you pay for entering the cave once again because you ‘are not allowed to go in without a guide and a special lamp’. There are many caves like this in this area - if you really want to see one, just pick one and that’s sufficient to have seen what it’s like.

Honestly dissapointed. This was our second visit. When we visited in 2009 Londa was an exciting cave full of broken coffins skulls and bones. Meanwhile somebody cleaned the caves. What remains is tidy cave, but almost no ancestors … Also the “compulsory” guide to enter the caves changing high fee for 20 minutes lamp use should be made official and included in the ticket price
