Inside the cave it's a bit slippery so just be careful, don't touch things inside the cave historical site, friendly vendors, there are buffaloes if you want to take pictures don't touch their horns
View on GoogleCustoms and cultural traditions that are still maintained in the Londa area. There are tombs in a rather narrow and dark cave, some of the coffins have been destroyed. Entering the cave must use lighting and you can rent a local guide pay as you wish, lighting cost 50k. The lighting used by local guides is strongkeng (petromax lamp).
View on Googlesuitable for researchers and art & culture connoisseurs, guides who are local residents can be utilized for lamp rental because the cave condition is very narrow and slightly slippery requiring tourists to be careful and needing adequate lighting equipment.
View on GoogleVisiting Londa cave for the first time I initially thought it was creepy, turns out not like what I imagined Maybe because the place has become a tourist destination.. so it's not as creepy as walking in a general cemetery area... this place in my opinion is very interesting and must be visited by travelers Besides sightseeing we will get experience and knowledge about customs/ burial culture in the Toraja area.. And in Londa tomb you will find the skull heads of young couple who chose to die together because their relationship was not approved supposedly if I'm not mistaken because they are still of the same blood/ clan.. maybe more precisely you can search on google So they are nicknamed Romeo and Juliet in Londa Toraja... You must go there
