There are many nice restaurants in Indonesia, but this isn’t one of them. The only people eating here were dropped off by their guide. Food isn’t special, it’s cold when it served. Tried to explain to the waiter that the food was called but he didn’t understand. Look further.

Tourist trap. Look at the comments. Don’t let your guide stop you here. Views are good (depending on the table you are assigned) and the staff is nice but food is average and extremely expensive (+extra taxes)

Heavily overpriced. They don't give you rice to you rdish. And then you pay 25000 Rp extra to get some. I can easily get a complete dish somewhere else for that. The view is decent and the taste was okay. Don't go if you can avoid it.

I was brought here by my guide, but just driving past it you would probably not know it was a popular tourist restaurant. And by popular I mean it was FULL of tourists - I’ve never seen so many tourists in one place since Bali. Where did they all come from, I wonder? Because I have barely seen any tourists anywhere else around Torajah. Upon seating, the waitress showed me a menu, and suggested I choose one of the local dishes. I wasn’t really super hungry and I didn’t want a main dish, but since I was already there, I ordered the bamboo chicken and black rice. The bamboo chicken was tasty however it was very dry, as was the black rice. These items were also quite expensive compared to anywhere else I’ve eaten in Sulawesi. What I did not realize at the time was that there are smaller dishes, and many other items listed on the back of the menu which, for me at least, would have been a much better meal, and more affordable. The panoramic view of the rice fields is spectacular, but if you drive up into the hills you can find cozy and cheap local cafés with no tourists and even more spectacular views.
