Just Ok, the Burned Chicken was not hot when served, same as the soup.

First time going to this eatery in 2012, it was temporarily closed for quite a long time until it reopened in late 2024. Opened in an authentic old-school house with quite spacious parking, the dining area can be outdoor or indoor. Serving sweet soy sauce grilled chicken (ayam bakar kecap) with a taste that hasn't changed. This grilled chicken has a savory-sweet taste from the caramelized soy sauce when grilled. Previously, this chicken is braised (ungkep) first so it's just grilled when someone buys it, fresh. Well-cooked rice adds a plus point. Choice of breast or thigh with large cuts for both. Recommended to get the thigh part because the seasoning is more absorbed and still juicy compared to the breast part which sometimes isn't absorbed deep enough and a bit dry in the middle. For the price ranging from IDR 20,000 (chicken without rice, still gets cucumber slices and sambal) and IDR 25,000 (chicken, cucumber slices, sambal + rice + sour vegetable soup/sayur asam), there is no price difference whether it's the breast or thigh part. Advice for this eatery: provide drink options other than plain water, at least tea, and provide electric fans so it feels cooler.

Warung Mbak Fie serves delicious grilled chicken menu with stone-mortar chili paste (sambal cobek-cobek) and cucumbers accompanied by clear vegetable soup with choices of thigh, breast, wing. For dine-in, you can choose to sit on the floor (lesehan) or sit on chairs. The view in the yard is soothing with lush fruiting mango trees hanging low.
