One of the household names for Makassar style Chinese food that has been open for many years. We tried their three famous dishes - fried meatballs, fried rice with the signature red sauce and crispy fried noodles in special sauce. Highly recommend all three of them although they are big in portion! Especially when it is paired with their chilli sauce with a hint of sour/tanginess that keeps it fresh. They have seatings at the front of the shop lot with only fans and more indoor seatings toward the back that is in an air conditioned room. Food - 9 Service - 7 Vibe - 5 Price - $$
View on GoogleThe restaurant located in china town of Makassar. Taste delicious, selling lots of chinese pork cuisine. The place is also spacious, lots of table. If you drive a car it would be tricky to find a parking spot but there is a parking attendee that will help you find one. The most crowded time in this restaurant is on sunday. Notes: it start open from 5 PM till midnight
View on GoogleOne of the best family diner experience I had in Makassar. The food is not that expensive if you eat with other people, ordering the biggest menu they have. The food in this restaurant has the delicious kick compared to what I usually have (ordering the same menu) in Jakarta. Definitely a must try when you visit Makassar. I would recommend what I had here (all with the sweet red pork) and also the pork meatballs they had. The pork meatballs are really crunchy on the outside while being soft and warm on the inside. Definitely a treat!
View on GoogleBest nasi goreng merah I’ve ever tasted. Nasgor merah 5/5 Fried pork 5/5 Canton mee 3/5 Fuyung hai 4/5 Boneless butter chicken 4/5 Big portion, be sure to share with your friends. They also have room with air cons which is rare in makassar 🤣. Street parking only.
View on GoogleOne of our favourite place to enjoy (non-halal) traditional chinese food. We ordered ayam tanpa tulang mentega (64 K), mie goreng kwantong (55 K), nasi goreng lombok (55 K), and cincau soya (28 K) excl. tax. The food was great 👍 and also satisfying. The nasi goreng was a little bit spicy (there was small slices of chilli there). The cincau soya tasted unique for our taste buds. Place was cleaned enough, but a little bit too small.
