this place sells konro which is a dish made of beef ribs. there are two styles of the dish: konro bakar or grilled ribs, and sop konro or ribs soup. personally, i like the grilled ribs better. it's served with coarse peanut sauce, and comes with a soup. the meat is so tender, and comes off easily from the bones. the peanut sauce reminds me of chicken satay. it's quite similar but the peanut is coarsely blended so it gives you texture. the place can be fully packed during the dinner time. the place can be hot and sweaty with lacks of air conditioner. the food is tasty nevertheless, so it's worth it.

A Makassar specialty, the meat is tender with a distinctive peanut sauce layered on top, complete with soup or gravy. It tastes delicious and is best eaten with rice. There's a second floor and the place is spacious.

Konro bakar at Karebosi is just the most makyuz food in the world. The ribs are huge and so tender, they literally fall off the bone. That thick, savory peanut sauce is the real winner—perfect with the dark, rich broth and a bit of lime.

I'm really disappointed with the food. Taste good, but the giving me SO MUCH FAT which is un-chewable lol. The only thing that's worth it was the price.

the perfect combination of grilled konro with peanut sauce and rice. no debate. the rib meat is very tender, and the seasoning is so well absorbed it feels like it goes all the way to the bone. absolutely satisfying.
