it's a seafood restaurant, which is better to enjoy in a group rather than alone. the seafood is fresh, you may pick your own fish first. the grilled fish is tasty, and tender. the dish that you should not miss is actually the shrimp with sauce. the sauce is the star since it's so good, even the fish goes well with the sauce. the place is quite dingy. if it's not raining, you better have a seat outside than inside the building. the lettuce, and seaweed on the table is free. the banana is also free. that's something new for me since usually you have to pay for it too.
View on GoogleReally good dinner I had there. I'd happily go back.
View on GoogleThis culinary institution from Makassar deserves every bit of praise. The seafood is truly amazing and the sambals are delicious. I loved the sambal with limau. This is must visit in Makassar. 10/10
View on GoogleThis is probably one of the precious jewels in Makassar! Truly amazing fresh fish and their samplings of sambals are to die for! I went alone and ordered grilled Baronang and eggplant as a side dish. I basiclly destroyef the delicious fish! Truly a must try while in town. The food is so fresh and tasty you will remember the taste for weeks.
View on GoogleThe place is not for faint-hearted bule tourists. You need training and dedication to start loving sambal, seaweed and cah kangkung. But fear not - if you reached this place anyway do not miss this viral restaurant!
