Oh my God, this is one of my favourite restaurant. The taste of food really delicious (described Indonesian taste so well). And don't worry because the price sooo cheap. At certain times (lunch, dinner) it's crowd. So, you need to patient to wait more long.

Authentic Makassar food not only loved by locals but also tourists. So many customers made the waiting took longer for about 30-45 minutes which is too long. Overall getting the food was worth the wait. Definitely a go for newcomers to Makassar to try this out.

Mie Awa serves variant of Halal noodles menu, such as mie kering, mie kuah, mie bakar, mie Hokkian, as well as the other menu like fried rice, rawon, and soup. I tried their food by using a food delivery service. Thanks to the delivery promo, I could get Mie Bakar for IDR 35,000. What a good deal! A huge portion of dried and grilled noodles served with chicken, vegetables, chicken liver, fried topping, egg in a thick soup. I bet you'll be fulll after eating this one by yourself 😁 It's suitable for sharing as well.

Its good if you like mie kering, the waitress is nice too, and the busker has good taste of music
