Came all the way from the airport, around 10pm. Was not certain at first. We were dropped of in a place that feels like in the middle of nowhere. Some small shops and houses. You need to go in a small alleyway that a car wouldnt be able to go in. And theres this place, just behind the mosque. Its small, some ppl were still dining in. Not sure at first but tried it eventually. Had the songkolo with salted duck egg.. and its phenomenal.. i have to say its the best thing i had in makassar. Really recommend it. And the price is very affordable too. And they accept qris. Will have again whenever im in makassar.

nothing has changed since the first time i ate here. it’s the kind of place you have to visit late at night. thank you for always being here and serving such comforting dishes that are truly enjoyable.

The best songkolo all over south sulawesi. Very cheap but the taste is great

Good food with cheap price. Place was a bit small so expect to eat outside or takeaway

one of the traditional Makassar foods. made of black glutinous rice which is steamed and sprinkled with grated coconut which is roasted and served with anchovies which are cooked spicy. this restaurant also sells delicious yellow rice!! the price is cheap, the place is a bit crowded but the food is delicious. must try!!! 😍😎
