Love Pallubasa, especially with adding egg yolk and grated toasted coconut to the soup. It has a very rich taste and the reputation doesn’t disappoint

The Palubasa here is really makyuz—honestly way better than the other spots I've tried. The broth is just so much richer. Just a heads-up though, they’re strictly cash only, so don’t forget to hit the ATM first.

My Indonesian friend recommended us to try Pallubasa when come to Sulawesi. Thus, we would like to try Pallubasa Serigala. It's almost full house when we arrived, but we still can find a table. Pallubasa is eat with white rice. It's like a soup but has fried shredded coconut inside and can taste a bit lime. The food is refreshing.

this place sells pallubasa which is beef soup with toasted coconut floss. originally, it's served with raw egg, dropped into the hot soup, but i asked them to serve it without the raw egg since i don't like raw egg. the dish is almost similar to the famous coto makassar but it has the depth from the toasted coconut flakes. this soup is savory and comforting. the beef is tender, and there's a lot of it. it can be packed during the dinner hour but you'll find your way.

A good place to get palubasa in Makassar. The place is not too big but always crowded. No AC, all long tables so you have to share table with other people. Decent price, good food.
