We were with 10 persons and had several of dishes. The duck (roasted) was really tasty and fingerlicking good. I can't speak for the others but everyone had their share and were satisfied after filling their tummy. The location is a bit far but hey, if you are in the neighbourhood, just have a quick bite.

Bebek Tepi Sawah from Ubud, Bali now comes to Gowa Regency! 🥳 This restaurant is located inside The Danau Resort & Villa, a relaxing place with the fresh and cool air. This restaurant has both of the indoor and outdoor areas. During the night, it's comfortable enough to dine in the outdoor area. We tried Tepi Sawah Crispy Duck (IDR 135,000). A big plate of white rice with crispy and tender deep fried duck, long beans, and three kinds of spicy Balinese sambal. Tastes so good! Recommended!

Well you dont have to go to Bali to get this famous crispy duck taste. From downtown Makassar you just need to drive 20-30mins to get to this place. The restaurant area was so hot, not many trees or rice fields as you can view when you visit the original place in Ubud. Maybe this is what I felt missing when I came at this place. Actually the taste -should be- similar to the original restaurant but I think Bebek Tepi Sawah is more than just dishes. I do hope the owner will continue make this place "greener" So the guest will get the full experience of Bebek Tepi Sawah itself.

A taste of Bali - but not that good First of all, the sambal and the Spices for the food? 5 out of 5! It taste good and simply the best The rest of it? Falls apart. Fried Duck is super dry. They overcooked the duck to the point the meat is super dry left no juice at all. Sad how can someone butcher a fried food Overall it was a decent meal. Will come back if I ever pass by
