Had lunch here a few days ago with some friends for Christmas. The place was very Christmas-y and well decorated, but the tables were placed to close to one another. For the food, my chicken parmigiana was good, my friend's grilled chicken was also good, but the steak was just so so. Service was slow. It took about 1 hour for our food to arrive.

This was my first time having lunch here (13 December 2025). The food was good, however, the service needs significant improvement. I experienced three issues during my visit. 1. Staff lack of product knowledge. I asked whether the Christmas edition drink, Clara’s Spiced Apple Fizz, was carbonated. A male staff member replied, “I think not,” without checking and with an unenthusiastic attitude. After I requested confirmation, he returned and said it was not carbonated because it uses tonic water, which is in fact carbonated. 2. After finishing my main course and ordering dessert, our table was not cleared until we requested assistance. During the clearing process, a used tissue fell onto my dessert. When I informed the staff member, she removed the tissue but did not apologize and only replied with “Oh”. 3. At the cashier, I asked where a good photo spot was. The response was simply, “Anywhere is fine,” which came across as dismissive. We chose this place for lunch because of its nice decor and to capture some moments. What is the point of decorating a restaurant if it’s not meant to be used as a photo spot for customers? While the food quality was good, the overall experience was negatively affected by the service. Good food is meaningless if the service is bad.

We came for dinner around 7 PM. Loved the decor. Food was good, but portions were quite small. We wanted to order their pizzas, but they were already sold out. Most of their desserts were also sold out by this point, so I recommend coming in earlier if you want to order their dessert.

I had a lovely time at Onni! I expected it to be beautiful from the pictures, but seeing it in real life was even better. The staff made me feel right at home, the atmosphere was peaceful, and the food was great. What really set this place apart were the floral decorations—they added such a unique and charming touch. Definitely a spot worth visiting!

one of the best thematic eating places in Surabaya. During the Christmas celebration, we made a reservation at this restaurant for lunch, after previously making a reservation and ordering in advance. Our food came one by one, and after we almost finished eating, one of our relatives who already ordered had not yet received her order, apparently she was just informed that the food was not available and asked to be replaced with something else. When we were about to go home, our dessert (we completely forgot that we ordered it) was just brought out. Maybe the service needs to be improved again. The taste of the food is good though.
